Training America – One Shooter at a Time

Scott was a United States Marine with 2nd Plt F.A.S.T. Company (Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team) and 1/1 HMG Plt.  While in the Marines, he served as an Instructor for:

  • M.O.U.T. operations
  • Close Combat (L.I.N.E.)
  • Small unit tactics
  • Vehicle Operations Convoy Security

Scott also taught employment of and qualified with the:

After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Corps, Scott went to work for Firearms Training Systems - Military Marketing / Training.  While at FATS, Inc. he taught foreign and domestic military/L.E. units through the use of the FATS Weapon Simulators. Scott helped develop a Use of Force / Force Continuum training system for Ontario Police and NYPD which incorporated escalation/de-escalation of force and shoot/ no-shoot scenarios.

After leaving FATS, Scott became a Georgia P.O.S.T. certified officer with the City of Marietta and Dekalb County Police Departments.  He served as a road officer/ FTO as well as Street Level Robbery/Drug Suppression officer.   Scott completed a K9 tracking course and met all requirements for intermediate and advanced certifications. Scott was certified in High Risk Warrant Service, Advanced Tactical Shotgun, and all Advanced Firearms courses.

Presently, Scott is a Certified Officer with the Department of Homeland Security, serving as a Firearms/ Tactics Instructor.

Scott is also an active competitor in IPSC/USPSA.
